Travel Requirements

Visas

American passport holders do not need visas for Botswana. Some European countries do require visas for Botswana. These applications can be placed with your travel agent.

Suggested personal clothing and equipment

• Casual outfit for use and after safari.
• 3 x changes of safari clothing – light cotton \ twill \ denim (long and short trousers).
• 1 Pair of well broken-in hunting shoes \ desert boots (ankle height).
• Heavy hunting boots are not recommended.
• 1 Pair of light sneakers \ moccasins \ brogues for camp wear.
• 4 Pairs of socks.
• Soft hunting hat \ cap and balaclava.
• 1 Sweater and one pair of gloves.
• 1 Lightweight warm jacket \ windbreaker
• Personal toiletries and medication.
• Spare prescription spectacles \ contact lenses.
• Sunglasses, lip salve & sun block.
• Ammunition belt, pouches, and pocketknife.
• Binoculars (7 x or 8 x)
• Camera, lenses, flash & plenty of film.
• Anti-malaria medication is highly recommended.
• Hard firearm case for international travel and soft gun slip for hunting.
• Reading matter.
• Please pack as lightly as possible.
